The Borromean Islands are an archipelago consisting of three main islands (Isola Bella, Isola Madre, and Isola dei Pescatori), a small island, and a rock, located in Lake Maggiore, specifically in the Borromean Gulf. The archipelago is famous for its natural beauty, scenic gardens, and Baroque architecture, especially Isola Bella, which hosts the Borromeo Palace. The islands can be reached by boat departing from Cannobio or directly from Stresa.
